This week has been a very challenging time for our school community and I want to thank you all for your cooperation and understanding. Thank you to my amazing staff team! Those who are working at home and spent time attending virtual meetings last weekend to ensure things were in place for the children on Monday. My staff still in school who are working hard to make sure we have everything covered with half of the team out. My admin team who were sending emails very late Sunday night and have answered numerous questions and queries over the bubble closure. Our site team and cleaners have gone above and beyond to make sure that there have been deep cleans across the school with every brick and pencil in EYFS being cleaned.
Our supportive parents who have kept their children at home when asked to keep them safe and engaged with class Dojo – thank you so much!
Finally our fantastic children both in school and at home. Years 1 – 4 have carried on in school, despite some of them having siblings at home. Nursery, Reception, years 5 and 6 have fully embraced their home learning and it has been lovely seeing what you are up to each day, I am incredibly proud of you all!
We have started the delivery of our #LessnessCAN packages this week. We have sorted uniform, food and toiletries to ensure that all of our families have supplies for the next week. I have been blown away by all your generosity and I am so glad that this project is proving so successful As always if you need support – please just ask.
Please have a lovely weekend
